Featuring Cale and my son, Rathera. Rathera takes the Menchon he named Mecha Duck as his companion Veeery original aw ye

_{It just surprises me at how much similarity these two have, dressed mainly in green and brown, have past life as fugitives, use both firearms and katana (ninja katana for Rath), commits their whole life for adventure, can be both badass and fun at the same time and most importantly, they both are probably based on Kino from 'Kino no Tabi' (I just assume so from a commission of Cale).} So hella, I need to have Cale for my son's mentor SO BADLY.

Cale and Rath are probably being hunted down by the steampunk robots And they did a really badass move a.k.a sliding down the wall while attacking their pursuers. Of course, Rath had to be Cale's cushion bc he's the taller and bigger one meat wall bahahah.

_{The very first piece that takes me like 2 weeks to complete what the heck But I learn a lot while doing this piece and first time draw such detailed background, so I'm pretty much satisfied with it's completion even if I won't win}

Story time folks!

It seems like just any other day in the old town of Chromeon, an old steampunk town surrounded by desert. It could be, but that day, it's totally a bad day for a certain tall blonde man named Rathera. He stare deeply at the pair of green eyes down before him, trying so hard to ignore the gun pointed straight at his eye. His hand hovers above his own holster. It seemed like they are waiting for either one to move first. One move and either one of them will drop dead.
"I'll ask you one more time." Cale voice are dead serious, not once she moved her eyes from Rathera's sky blue ones. "Why are you following me?"

Honestly girl, do you expect me to answer with gun on my head?
"M-men..tor.." Rather a mumbled, his mind making 100 possible ways to escape from the former assassin's deadly revolver. It still seemed impossible somehow. "I... thought... There's mentor.. applicant... here? For drifters."
"I know, but what are an assassin like you even doing here?"
HONESTLY GIRL. YOU'RE AN ASSASSIN TOO. But now you're more of an ass than assassin! Better don't let Cale hear that thought, he'd be killed instantly.

"Can't an assassin get a new life an be a drifter?" he gave up trying to reach for his own handgun and slowly raises his hand above his head. "....Fine.. Turn me in if you want. I don't want to look for a trouble with my new mentor." he sighed and let the nuzzle of Cale's revolver touched his forehead. It is just momentary, but Rathera managed to catch the twinkle in her eyes.

Surprisingly, the petite girl twirled her revolver and slide it back down her holster. "Good, now be a good boy and let's move on." Cale chirped happily with a grin. Rathera blinked. And blinked again. Did her voice..... just turned from dead serious to extra cutesy. Wait, did she just--

"What?" he added dumbly, hands still on air while his new mentor turned around and started to walk away. "Wait wait wait. WHAT??"
"Wow, you're so slow." Cale laughed and turned back to her extremely tall apprentice. "Of course I know you're my apprentice. I just tested you. If you dare try to hurt me back, then it's no use for me to give my trust to you right?" she explained with a soft smile. One that is extremely different than her solemn face just now.
"Then what about that assassin ooga booga??" whined the tall man with his hand still in the air. Cale laughed so hard at her apprentice's confused face.
"I don't know you can be such a clown! Haha!" she doubled over, still laughing.
"I don't know you can be such a jerk. Huh." he mumbled, still whining.

But slowly a smile swept across his face and he lowered down his hand. That's a pretty unexpected start, but it seemed that they already win each other trust. Two ex-fugitives on a journey. It will just last for a while according to the drifters Master and Apprentice program, but deep inside, Rathera knows it will be full with danger. One fugitive is already a danger, two is double trouble. And that is why they need to trust each other with their own life.

"You're coming or not? Work that long legs of yours will you?" Cale called out from afar, now grinning at her new apprentice.
"Ye, coming!" Rathera called back and started to run after his new Master.
